Saturday Morning Sketch #4

Flowers are really fun to paint. If you've got a good underlying structure, and you make good colors choices, you can be incredibly loose and they'll still read as flowers.

beautiful colors, I never thought it would be that fun to paint flowers, always had in mind a living thing is the most fun an artist could have when it comes to drawing or painting, thanks for the motivation, now I'll try to have fun with mostly anything :)

your work is just phenomenal. Your use of color, shape, and composition moves me in ways I'm not sure I can completely describe.
Do you have any tutorials laying about? video or written?

Almost photo-real! How long do the more detailed pieces take and what process do you go about painting these?

Hey, what's the deal with this Chinese spam comment? I also got this type of comment, but I can't seem to delete it? I tried to follow the instructions at blogger, but to no avail. What's up? Any tips?

PAUL!
Thank you for inspiring me everyday. When I wake up a few hours early to paint before I go to my job as a production designer, its art like yours that adds fuel to my fire.

I have just started doing plein air watercolors. Theres a bunch on my blog.

Thanks again. I wish you much happiness and inspiration.

Paul, I just tried to delete that Chinese porn spam and I was successful. I guess Blogger took care of the glitch. Give it a shot.
